Lolo Jones, winner of both USA championships and World championships in the event of hurdles, has reached her current place with much effort and a huge amount of patience. Jones' childhood was difficult because she was the sole child of a mother within a large household. She lived with her mom in a basement church and was always in motion. Jones had an erratic and mobile lifestyle from the moment she started high school, had to move to a new school each year. Jones needed to be separated from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. Jones stayed in four houses during her highschool years in order to study at one location. Jones was also a cellist in the orchestra at school. In high school, she won the Gatorade Athlete Of The Year Award in Iowa Track and Field. Jones was one of the best hurdlers in her age group at the time she entered college. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdle in 2002 at the NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was an athlete that was second in the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of both indoor and outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones began her track career in the year 2005, when she graduated from university. In 2005 she won the winner of the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was in the Heusden and Ostrava runners.
Brandt was born in Auckland New Zealand, from Cape Town South Africa in the latter part of her in her adolescence. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt was cast in the role as Naevia on the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. In collaboration with the producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became one of the shows most memorable stars. She was on the show's hit Netflix series Lucifer which had a 6 year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes has ranked Lucifer, the world's most-watched show in 2021. Brandt's next appearance will be in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. The July 2023 episode of the Netflix adult-oriented comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni.
